Gender Based Protective Strategies: Their Application in the Post-Secondary Context

An increasingly popular prevention strategy to minimize risky alcohol consumption among post-secondary students is protective behavioural strategies (PBS) education. This paper aims to determine whether campus interventions incorporating PBS education should be targeted differently for male and female students and what may be the expected outcomes of a gender-focused PBS initiative.
