Applying Community-Based Participatory Research to Address Mental Health and Substance Use Issues on Campus

The reduction of substance misuse and mental health problems on post-secondary campuses may become feasible by implementing community-based participatory research (CBPR) practices. In part, CBPR entails gaining active student participation as well as input. This can be empowering and lead people to help themselves and others with similar real-world challenges.
